"The modern clarinet was developed in the middle of the 19th century and plays a part in music ranging from Jazz to Classical. Various modern manufacturing methods may be used to produce the instruments ranging from computer controlled machining of the body, to die casting for the keys. A variety of clarinets will be shown and demonstrated during this lecture."
