"The all-electric bus route was launched in January 2014 in Milton Keynes. This five-year demonstration programme has been planned and managed by Mitsui-Arup joint venture MASP, and supported by Milton Keynes Council and the Department for Transport, to show that low-carbon transport can be a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional diesel and petrol vehicles."
