"The 320MW Swansea Bay tidal lagoon will be the world's first tidal lagoon power plant, built to capture the potential energy of the hyper-tidal range in the Severn estuary. The talk will cover why Swansea Bay was chosen as the site, the layout and functioning of the lagoon, how it will be constructed and how the turbines will be installed and commissioned."
