"The Christchurch Town Hall survived the devastating earthquakes, albeit with extensive damage to the foundations and support structure caused by liquefaction. An ambitious plan to rebuild was embarked upon two years ago and with one year to go in this programme the IET is holding a behind the scenes tour of the reconstruction process with kind permission of Christchurch City Council. (IMPORTANT: must bring own PPE consisting of hard hat, high vis vest and safety shoes and glasses)"
