"E-Fan X is a Rolls-Royce and Airbus project to demonstrate a hybrid electric propulsion system for a large aircraft. Matt Young, the Chief Validation and Verification Engineer for E-Fan X, will talk about the social, economic and environmental drivers that are pushing the aerospace industry's to investigate electrical propulsion. He will explain the technological challenges to be overcome, and how this is being tested with E-Fan X."
