"The University of Oxford has developed a technology that allows devices such as mobile phones and cameras to both charge and transmit data without cables. Current applications target smaller, low power devices. However employed on a larger scale, this technology might eliminate the need for power and data cables. Isis Innovation Ltd is working with Dr Chris Stevens to bring the technology to the market."
