"There have been a number of unfortunate fatalities at both automatic half barrier crossing and user worked crossing in the UK over the last few years and user worked crossings are seen as some of the most dangerous methods of crossing a railway at a grade level. This seminar will explore the recent developments in technology that have been applied to level crossing to improve the safety of user worked crossings and automatic half barrier type crossings."
