"The talk will begin by describing the computations achievable by coherent optical processors operating with classical optical wavefronts and go on to illustrate the similarities, and important differences, in the optical implementation of operations central to quantum computing, such as the quantum Fourier transform, Grover search algorithm and Shor factorisation algorithm."
