About this event:
Join us for Long Term Operation of a UK PWR:31 years of experience at Sizewell B where we will share EDF Nuclear UK's experience of safely and reliably operating the UK's only Pressurised Water Reactor for more than three decades. The presentation will explore Sizewell B's operational performance, the role of long-term operation in supporting the UK's low carbon energy future, and how the industry is inspiring the next generation of nuclear professionals. We will also provide insight into equipment reliability, highlighting how specialist teams maintain and optimise complex nuclear systems over decades of operation. Attendees will learn how a strong safety culture, defence in depth, rigorous maintenance, continuous improvement and operational excellence achieve long term success.
