"The visit at RAF Kirknewton will explain the history of the Sopwith Strutter aircraft during WW1 and its historic place in aviation history with the first aircraft landing on a ship near North Berwick. The tour will include details of the construction project undertaken over 24 years to scratch build the aircraft from the original 1917 design drawings. It will also describe some of the project problems encountered during the construction process and the initial two test flights."
