About this event:
Solar PV systems are becoming increasingly common in commercial buildings, but a successful installation involves much more than simply installing solar panels and an inverter. This talk provides a practical overview of the key electrical engineering considerations in commercial Solar PV systems, covering system design, string and inverter selection, protection, earthing and bonding, surge protective devices (SPDs), residual-current protection, and testing and commissioning.
