"Polychlorinated biphenyls are a group of synthetic chemicals with good dielectric properties and had been widely used in electrical apparatus. PCBs have long been recognized as carcinogenic and toxic; hence are banned globally by the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants in 2001. Recent EU and UK legislation mandated the removal of oil filled equipment with a PCBs level over a certain threshold by 31 December 2025. Tee, working with UK Distribution Operators, and as part"
