This technical visit explores the Ex�Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir�better known as the Bishop Hill Service Reservoir�a remarkable testament to the ingenuity and craftsmanship behind Hong Kong�s early waterworks development.

In this technical visit, participants will go through the video wall and perform window sighting for the System Control Room to get an understanding of the power generation, transmission and internal operation. It is expected that participants would be able to appreciate the cruciality of the center to a reliable power grid, and how professional engineers coordinate the operation of power generation, transmission and distribution systems smoothly and efficiently in real time.

This visit offers a unique opportunity to learn about the design, manufacturing, and application of high-voltage and extra-high voltage power cable accessories.

The schedule would include a site visit and a gathering session between engineers and students, allowing participants to explore real-world applications of electrical engineering and engage directly with industry professionals.
