Point to point microwave radio systems have been in operation since the 1940s however in todays world of fibre and satellite communications these fixed radio links often go unmentioned, despite their significant usage. This talk will explore the evolution of fixed radio links and how todays modern point to point microwave and millimetre wave radios provide cost-effective connectivity with capacities ranging from 100Mbps to 20Gbps.
