"The Edinburgh Fire Research Centre is part of the School of Engineering, University of Edinburgh and has been involved with research into fire science and fire engineering since its inception in 1974. It is the oldest and largest fire research group in the UK. The lab able to handle fires up to about heat release rates of 1MW. There will be discussion on many types of fires including Lithium Ion batteries. These will be discussed. Demonstrations of fire behaviour will be shown."
