"This talk will give a general introduction into Static Frequency Converter (SFC) technology for railway electrification, how it compares to conventional rail electrification feeder stations, and why it has been introduced in several countries in the past years. The talk will focus on the PCS6000 Rail SFC technology from Hitachi Energy installed / commissioned at the Potteric Carr site (Yorkshire - UK)."
