""Microprocessors and their descendants, microcontrollers, are now so commonplace in our electronic world, we forget that they did not exist before 1970. Two far-sighted members of staff at Swansea University, Prof. David Aspinall and Dr. Erik Dagless, obtained a sample and within a few months had a working, self-contained microcomputer."
