"Connah's Quay is our largest combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power station. The station has four single shaft units, each with a capacity of 330MW giving Connah's Quay an overall generation capacity of 1420MW- enough to power half of Wales. This intrusive visit will introduce you to the workings of a modern Power Station and how efficiency is managed with surplus resources redirection. The tour will be to look at the inside of the generation process, the initial distribut"
