"The presenation is a technical discussion on Lightning protection on land and marine based assets, and the advancement in Intelligent lightning protection, an original concept from Nikola Tesla back in 1916 that does not allow a lightning strike to occur in a protected area, thru de-ionising the atmosphere. There are an estimated 8 million lightning strikes a day across the world and the risk that it causes to assets and people."
