"The North Wales Local Network has arranged a visit to Arfon Television and Radio Transmitting Station which is south of Caernarfon in Gwynedd. The site, which has a 1,000-foot mast was opened in 1962, transmitting ITV 405-line analogue television (it was a relay of Preseli near Cardigan). UHF 625-line analogue television was installed in 1975 and this continued to broadcast until 2010 when it was replaced with digital television."
