"The talk will focus on the anniversary of the creation of Southern Railway 100 years a go last year and explore why it happened and was it the right thing to happen. We will look at how it effected the Bluebell Railway and other local railway line. Particularly it will examine the vital role that electrical engineering played in the success of Southern Railway."
