"Metrolink is the biggest light rail system in the country. Keolis Amey Metrolink is a joint venture that manages and operates the tram system. They operate and maintain a fleet of 147 Bombardier M5000 trams. Major maintenance and overhaul procedures are carried out at Queens Road. This visit is an opportunity to see how the depot is operated and to learn how the high reliability of fleet, required to provide a reliable service across the network is achieved."
