Generative AI and Quantum Computing - Future Challenges for Cyber Security
Date/Time:
Wednesday 12th March 2025 @ 12:14 PM
Details:
"The level of encryption required to ensure security from quantum computers is known as 'post-quantum cryptography' and is the focus of intensive research worldwide. Within the next decade, experts estimate large-scale quantum computers will be powerful enough to break most public-key cryptosystems currently in use and these are the technologies that sort of underpin the security of the Internet. This lecture will discuss these technologies and the impact they will have."
