Recently technology has advanced to the point where this weird behaviour can be harnessed to do a wide range of things such as build powerful quantum computers, ultra-sensitive sensors, incredibly precise clocks and unhackable communications. This talk will provide an up-to-date view of quantum, with an honest appraisal of the outlook for this fascinating area with an emphasis on communications.
