UK Power Networks DSO: 2 years on

UK Power Networks DSO (Distribution System Operator) was established in 2023 with responsibility for ensuring that sufficient and timely network capacity is available at lowest cost to UK Power Networks customers, using customer flexibility, data and digital technologies. This talk will explain how UK Power Networks DSO is fulfilling the roles defined by the Regulator, Ofgem, and the progress made two years since its inception.

Hydrogen technologies: from production to applications in hard-to-electrify sectors

Hydrogen is a zero-carbon fuel that has promise to change our energy landscape and eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels. In this talk, I will give an overview of the hydrogen rainbow and the related various hydrogen production routes, then focus on production of green hydrogen through electricity of water with renewable electricity input.
