"Static UPS systems use batteries to provide energy required for the ride through period. In contrast, Dynamic Rotary UPS systems use a flywheel to store kinetic energy used for the ride through period. DRUPS is mainly used in critical infrastructures such as data centres, airports, casinos etc. Mr. CHUNG will introduce the main component of system and energy storage by flywheel, and how the system works as UPS. He will share case study shown its application and operational performance of DRUPS."
