"Emissions from electricity production have fallen significantly, there has been much less progress in reducing emissions from heating. In its 2017 Clean Growth Strategy, the UK Government presented electricity and low carbon gases as ways to provide a future low emissions heating system. This presentation looks at the prospects for decarbonising the gas supply chain with biomethane and hydrogen in place of natural gas including supply, carbon emissions, costs, technical and policy challenges."
