"Hear stories of Science and adventure and how Andrew ended up as part of a ransom deal with the secret police in Libya. Andrew started his career as a graduate trainee with the South Wales electricity board but then moved on to the oil industry where he spent three years at sea on world-wide contract doing seismic research; then moved into computer engineering, geophysics & graduate training. He then moved to the Western Isles to work for the council. For the past 12 years has lectured with UHI."
